Luisa Phebo

Luisa has a Bachelor of Laws from UERJ and a master’s degree in International Development from IHEID-Geneva. She has over eight years of experience with social-impact projects and public-private partnerships in many areas. She acts as a Product Partnerships Managers in Google Latin America and has worked in the areas of project management, fundraising and international relations in national and international NGOs such as Viva Rio and World Vision.

Tiago Fernandes

Tiago has a degree in Law from FGV (2011), has an MBA in Finance in Ibmec (2013) and an MBA in Asset Management from PUC-RJ (2017). He has worked in the M&A areas at the firms Leite, Tosto e Barros Advogados and Machado Meyer Advogados and in the Corporate Finance area in Lefosse Advogados. In 2013, he became a partner at Marlin Investimentos and, in 2016, he was the cofounder of VRB.

Carlos Bacha

Carlos has a degree in International Relations and an MBA in Finance from PUC-RJ. He was the vice-president of Pátria and BRZ Investimentos, being responsible for the selection and structuring of high-yield resources controlled by proprietary funds and co-investors. In these institutions, he led business structuring with an added value of over R$ 1 billion. He has also worked at Gávea Investimentos and in Banco Modal, with a special focus in real estate, finance, energy and agrobusiness.

Anna Victoria Lemann

Anna Victoria is a psychologist with great involvement in social causes through Fundação Lemann. She has a great influence in the Fashion and Visual Arts sector.

Edmar Bacha

Edmar is an internationally renowned economist. He was part of the economy team that instituted the Plano Real. Since 2003, he’s the director of Casa das Garças, an institution dedicated to economic studies and debates. He’s a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the Brazilian Academy of Letters.

Rubem César

Rubem César Fernandes has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw in Poland and a master’s degree in History from UFRJ. He has a master and a PHD title from Columbia University in the US. Since 1993 heading Viva Rio, the anthropologist’s and historian’s name became a reference in social development and the promotion of peace culture, acting in projects in the areas of education, health, public safety, environment and community development.

Simon Schwartzman

Simon is a renowned sociologist in Brazil. He was the president of Insituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE – Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) between 1994 and 1998, a professor in Universidade de São Paulo and Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He’s a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and an associate researcher of the Instituto de Estudos de Política Econômica – Casa das Garças.

Bernardo Sorj

A retired Sociology full professor in UFRJ, he was a visiting professor and occupied chairs in many universities in Europe and the United States. Author of 30 books published in many languages and over 100 academic papers. He’s currently the director of Centro Edelstein de Pesquisas Sociais and Plataforma Democrática.

Guilherme Ferraioli

Guilherme Ferraioli started working as Chief Executive Officer in 2017 at UBS Consenso. UBS Consenso is Brazil’s largest multi-family office., where he had previously worked as a Portfolio Manager (2009-2016). Ferraioli was also an Analyst and Fund Management at Santander Asset Management (2003-2008).

Leonardo Martins

Leonardo Martins is the Co-CEO at Turim, Brazil’s largest independent multi-family office with 18 years of history and focus on global asset management. Turim is the only South American representative in the Wigmore Association’s exclusive group.

Artur Wichmann

Artur Wichmann is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of XP Private. With over 25 years of experience in the financial market, Artur began his career as an analyst at Banco Icatu (1994). He has held positions as Portfolio Manager at Banco Pactual (1996-1998), Credit Suisse Hedging Griffo (2008-2014), and Verde Asset Management (2015-2019). For ten years, he served as Director at UBS Global Asset Management (1998-2008) in Zurich and Toronto, and more recently, as CIO of Citrino Gestão de Recursos (2020).

João Paulo Vaz

João Paulo Vaz is a Senior Partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at TERA Capital. His career began at Itaú in 2003. He later transitioned to Banco BBM. In 2009, he joined the asset management team at BW, the largest Single Family Office in Latin America, where he stayed for 12 years. In 2021, he took on the role of Managing Director at Rafter Investimentos. João Paulo holds a degree in Production Engineering from USP, a Master’s in Finance from the London Business School, and has been a CFA charterholder since 2012.

Demosthenes Madureira is, since 2013, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brazil’s largest single-family office, BWGI. In his career, he has been Itaú Unibanco’s CEO (2009-2012), Unibanco’s CEO (2003-2008), also working at Dresdner Asset Management (2000-2002) and he was Banco Central do Brasil’s Director (1997-1999).
